Allison Williams
Allison Howell Williams (born April 13 in 1988) was an American producer and actress. In her roles in horror movies, she has been deemed a horror queen by the media. She first became known for starring as Marnie Michaels in the HBO comedy-drama show Girls (2012-2017), which resulted in an Critics' Choice Award nomination. Her breakout came from the role of Rose Armitage in the horror film Get Out (2017), that earned her nominations from The MTV Movie Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards among others. Her next roles were in films based on horror, including The Perfection (2018 and M3GAN 2022) as well as M3GAN 2022 which she co-produced. Williams was born and lived in New Canaan, Connecticut, she is the daughter of the former NBC Nightly News anchor and managing editor Brian Williams and TV producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. She also has one brother. Williams went to New Canaan Country School and Greenwich Academy. She was a student at Yale University, majoring in English. Also, she was part of the St. Elmo and Morse College secret societies. Williams was one of the Ralph Lauren outlet employee in New Canaan. She also was part of the troupe improv comedy Just Add water for a period of four years. She also acted on the YouTube series College Musical. Sam Tsui starred in the film, while Kurt Hugo Schneider was its director. They both went to Yale. In 2010, she graduated from Yale with a English diploma.
